Welcome to Marine Connex ("Marine Connex," "we," "our," or "us"). These terms govern your access to and use of the Marine Connex website, mobile application, and related services, collectively referred to as the platform.
By accessing or using Marine Connex, you agree to be bound by these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the platform.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 16 years old to use Marine Connex. If you are between 16 and 18, you represent that you have permission from a parent or legal guardian.
2. Platform Overview
Marine Connex is a digital marketplace that connects boat owners with independent marine service providers, referred to as vendors. Marine Connex does not provide marine services and is not a party to agreements between users.
3. User Accounts
You may be required to create an account to use certain features. You agree to provide accurate information, maintain the security of your credentials and accept responsibility for all activity under your account.
4. Vendors
Vendors are independent contractors and are solely responsible for their services, pricing, compliance and qualifications.
5. Boat Owners
Marine Connex does not endorse or guarantee vendors and is not responsible for the quality, timing or outcome of services provided.
6. Payments
During the minimum viable product phase, payments may occur outside the platform. Marine Connex is not responsible for payment disputes between users and vendors.
7. No Warranty
The platform is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied.
8. Limitation of Liability
Marine Connex is not liable for injuries, damages or disputes arising from platform use. Any liability is limited to the amounts paid to Marine Connex in the previous 12 months, if applicable.
9. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Marine Connex from claims arising out of your use of the platform or violation of these terms.
10. Prohibited Conduct
Users may not misuse the platform, provide false information, interfere with platform operations or engage in unlawful conduct.
11. Intellectual Property
All content, trademarks and branding on the platform are the property of Marine Connex or its licensors.
12. Termination
Marine Connex may suspend or terminate access to the platform at any time, with or without notice.
13. Modifications
These terms may be updated at any time. Continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
14. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the state of Florida.
